Ashley's story
Hello! My name is Ashley Cordischi, I am a Psychology B.S. major with plans on going to graduate school to study Child Psychology. When I first started at Indiana University, UD helped me find a major I was passionate about. With all the adjustments and changes that come with freshman year, one thing I am thankful for is UD. My UD advisor was very dedicated in helping me figure out exactly what I wanted to do. She helped me select classes that would help progress my college career, but also allow me the chance to explore my strengths. This allowed me to find the major that I so proudly enjoy. My UD advisor and I met numerous times over my freshman year to discuss not only class scheduling but for planning my future career path as well. My advice to those who have started their freshman year in UD, is find that one thing you’re passionate about. Think about the classes you genuinely enjoy going to and don’t feel like you have to rush to make such a big lifelong decision. You are already making sufficient progress for your future just by being at this university. I thank the UD department for making my adjustment freshman year that much easier!
