What is the Indiana Academic English Test (IAET)?
The Indiana Academic English Test (IAET) is a computerized English language test designed to assess whether the English abilities of newly admitted international students are sufficient for academic coursework, and to help those in need of additional language support in order to be academically successful.
The test is composed of three sections: Writing, Listening, and Oral Interview. The first two sections will be administered through computers. By the end of the testing day, your academic advisors will be notified of the test results. The test results will determine whether or not you will need to take courses from the English Language Improvement Program (ELIP).
